Your Exam

We'll reserve an hour for your new patient exam. When you arrive, a friendly staff member will go over your paperwork and discuss the reasons for your visit. You'll meet Dr. Grant for a comprehensive examination of your smile. He'll assess the integrity of your existing dental work, check your teeth for decay, and inspect your gums for signs of periodontal disease. He'll also examine your bite for proper alignment and perform an oral cancer screening.

Dr. Grant will take pictures of your teeth with an intraoral camera and display them on your chairside monitor. He wants you to be an informed partner in your dental care, so he'll use these images to explain his finding and suggested therapies. After discussing your dental goals, Dr. Grant will personalize a treatment plan for your unique situation. Our front-office staff will schedule your next visit before you leave.
