Dr. Merrill Grant
For over three decades, Dr. Grant has delivered comprehensive care for lasting oral health. He has a reputation for excellence and is known for creating beautiful smiles. Many dentists in the area use him for their own dental care because they trust his abilities and appreciate his dedication to quality.
After obtaining a BS in chemistry from Allegheny College, Dr. Grant went on to receive his masters of science in pharmacology from the University of Pittsburgh, then earned his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He then served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force on active duty at Patrick Air Force Base and was selected for a postgraduate program in prosthodontics at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Upon entering private practice in Pittsburgh, he continued to serve with the 911th Tactical Air Group for the next five years.
Dr. Grant has amassed over 3,000 hours of continuing education. He completed postgraduate study in dental implants at Harvard University and obtained additional cosmetic dentistry training at Baylor University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Grant is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association and a Pankey Institute Alumnus. He is also a member of several other prestigious organizations, including the Florida Dental Association, Brevard County Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He is a founding member of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Grant has also trained at Baylor Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum, LV Institute and the Rosenthal Institute.
Dr. Grant has published several articles in highly respected dental journals and has lectured to the Brevard County Dental Society about dental photography.
